Role reversal

The couple replays a recent conflict, but at a chosen moment they switch roles. Each partner now plays the other and continues the scene from the other side. It is another to physically take their seat, hear your own words from the other side, and respond in their voice.

Structured scenework

The couple identifies a recurring scene (the Sunday-morning argument, the kitchen, the bedtime conversation) and runs it. The therapist coaches small interventions: a different tone, a different opening line, a pause where there is usually escalation. The body learns what the mind already knows.

Ritual and repair
